Description:
What is the future of chamber music? Creative approaches are leading to growing audiences, varied programming, and creative solutions to recent challenges.
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Music@Menlo Festival, both led by co-artistic directors Wu Hun and David Finckel, our guests for Sunday’s Fine Arts Quartet concert at the Zelazo Center, have been leading the way. Wu Han will share the work of these two organizations. She will be joined by two leaders of creative Milwaukee organizations, Frank Almond of Frankly Music and Eric Segnitz of Present Music. Ralph Evans will join the panel representing the Fine Arts Quartet’s experience with Festivals in Europe and America.
Creative programming, outreach, and education have helped to keep the chamber music tradition alive.
