The Fine Arts Quartet performs in Milwaukee this June!

The Friends of the Fine Arts Quartet have organized a campaign to support a return of the Fine Arts Quartet to Milwaukee performances. The first phase of the campaign focused on ensuring the funds for a two concert Festival this summer – on June 10 and 17. The concerts are scheduled for the UW-Milwaukee Zelazo Center that has been home to the Quartet for many years. (Note that the Festival dates have been modified from February plans to offer the concerts on two weekends.)

To simplify arrangements for this June, there will be no ticketing. More information here.

The second phase of the campaign will look towards 2019. The strength of response from both larger donors and from the larger body of long-term fans will determine the sustainable base going forward.

Saint John’s on the Lake has agreed to manage the funds of the campaign. They have created a dedicated account – The Fine Arts Quartet Festival – for that purpose. Saint John’s will also host several events.

The Peck School of the Arts, UW-Milwaukee has also been collaborating with the series, assisting with the Zelazo Center performances.
