The Fine Arts Quartet returns to Milwaukee  for a January 27, 2019 Concert

The Fine Arts Quartet inaugurates a 2019 season in Milwaukee with a concert at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Zelazo Center Sunday, January 27. The all-Beethoven concert will begin at 3:00 p.m. A pre-talk is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.

To simplify arrangements for the January concert, there will be no ticketing.  The concert is free to the public with general seating.  More information here.

Meet the members of the Quartet

The Friends of the Fine Arts Quartet 2018 campaign to support Fine Arts Quartet Milwaukee performances was a substantial success. The first phase of the campaign ensured funds for a four-concert Festival this past summer.

The successful campaign produced a surplus which ensured that a single concert by the Quartet could be scheduled for January.

The second phase of the campaign looks towards a summer festival in July, 2019.

The Peck School of the Arts, UW-Milwaukee has been collaborating with the series, assisting with the Zelazo Center performances.

The Friends of the Fine Arts Quartet has contracted with Arts Wisconsin to manage the funds for 2019 and subsequent years. They have created a dedicated account – The Fine Arts Quartet Fund – for that purpose.
